The Weldex 2024 exhibition has ended

The 23rd International Exhibition of Welding Materials, Equipment and Technologies Weldex has ended in Moscow. We summarize the first results of the main event of the welding industry

The 23rd International Exhibition of Welding Materials, Equipment and Technologies Weldex, one of the main business events for specialists in the welding industry, has completed its work in Moscow today.

This year, the exhibition was attended by 150 domestic and foreign companies from Russia, China, Turkey, India, Vietnam and Pakistan. More than 2/3 of the exposition are new participants of the exhibition. The exhibitors presented their products in 11 market sectors — from welding equipment and materials to industrial robots. Among other things, a new section "Additive technologies. 3D printing". The exhibition took 6500+ sq.m in the Crocus Expo IEC.

Traditionally, a business program on the most important topics for industry representatives was organized at the Weldex exhibition. There were performances of 60 speakers in the Main Hall: representatives of government agencies, heads of manufacturing companies and suppliers of welding materials, equipment and technologies, top managers, welders and many others. In total, the first three days of the exhibition were held 13 thematic sessions, two of which were organized within the framework of the International International Hardware Exhibition ToolMash and the International B2B exhibition of fasteners and industrial supply Fastenex. For the second year in a row, the Weldex site hosted master classes at the stands of the exhibitors, where visitors could ask questions to specialists, see different equipment in operation, learn new welding techniques and even improve their skills. At the workshops, the companies demonstrated in practice equipment for preparing for welding, for positioning pipes and shaped parts before welding (centralizers), equipment for processing welding seams, the capabilities of industrial semi-automatic machines, features of stainless steel welding and mechanized welding techniques.

Also this year, three professional competitions were held at Weldex: the Competition "Women in Welding" 2024, "The best implemented innovative project in welding 2023-24" and the National Welding Championship "Weldex Welding Cup of Russia". The winners of the contests were announced at the exhibition during the award ceremony.

The 24th International Exhibition of Welding Materials, Equipment and Technologies Weldex will be held on October 7-10, 2025 at the Crocus Expo IEC (Pavilion 1, Hall 4). Work on the formation of next year's exposition has already begun — see you at Weldex 2025!
